Televisionista: Rebecca Romijn Joins "Ugly Betty" On January 18 In Original Storyline Twist

ABC has released the first promotional images from the January 18 episode of "Ugly Betty" which will feature a shocking storyline twist introducing Rebecca Romijn as a character we already... know?!!!

According to the accompanying press release, Salma Hayek's Sofia will indeed end up breaking Daniel's heart in the January 11 episode.

Betty is determined to get him back to work and over his sadness by setting him up on a date with a supermodel solidifying their kinship in the process.

In Daniel's absence, Wilhelmina decides who will continue to work at Mode once her ambitions to be named editor-in-chief are realized. Among those who stand to lose their jobs are Christina and Amanda.

Meanwhile, Hilda finds herself unemployed after Herbalux is recalled. In her quest to find work, she goes into business selling cupcakes, but quickly finds herself in over her head when she's unable to meet the demand for the baked goods not to mention she's spending more than she's making from her new venture.

And in a stunning conclusion, the woman behind the mask is revealed. Although we have known for a while Rebecca Romijn would play the part, the common assumption was the mysterious woman was going to be the presumed-dead Fey Summers.

TV Guide spoiler master Michael Ausiello has however revealed, the woman behind the mask will be a character we have already met and such twist may be TV's first!
