When Losties opened the hatch and began uncovering the island's secrets last season on ABC's LOST, a behind-the scenes secret relationship got also exposed giving tabloids a much sexier story to write about. One year later, Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan's are still the island's happy couple.

Ever since ABC's megahit series began filming in 2004, the two actors who never locked lips on screen, really connected in real life, and initially tried hard to keep their relationship a secret, not wanting to become the next Brangelina.

In 2005, former cast member Ian Sommerhalder confirmed Dominic and Evangeline were a couple and they reluctantly stopped trying to keep away from the hovering paparazzi who are always hungry for intimate images.

Lilly, who was born and raised in a Canadian Mennonite family, had spent three months in Bible camps in the Philippines when she was 18 and thought about becoming a missionary before she became a star.

As Monaghan revealed to Rolling Stone magazine, she may be Christian, but she is a "potty mouth". Nevertheless, the actress never takes part in night time skinny dipping sessions that her LOST co-star Matthew Fox often lures other cast members into.

Lilly, who had been married before she began filming LOST and met Dominic, has not revealed whether she is ready to tie the knot again. The couple have been inseparable for over two years now, and as these images from the year gone-by prove, their budding romance is stronger than ever.
