Televisionista: "Prison Break" Conspiracy To End This Year; Next Season TBD

"Prison Break" star Dominic Purcell has revealed to TV Guide that the central conspiracy storyline on FOX's Monday night drama will be concluded at the end of this season. Meanwhile, "Brothers and Sisters" star Patricia Wettig is set to return as evil madam President in a couple of voiceovers.

Due to the drama's success and the usual TV network economics, it is highly likely the show will be renewed for a third season.

At this point, however, the writers have no idea what the third season would be about as the drama had originally been conceived to last only two years.

Earlier this week, Patricia Wetting revealed she would be coming back to the show as President Caroline Reynolds in a couple of voice overs to be used later in the season.

She also teased she would share her first scene with the show's star Wentworth Miller.
