Brothers & Sisters #112: "Sexual Politics": May the Manfast Begin
Kitty's date makes page 4B; Nora meets a charming old queen; Kevin meets a Greek God; Sarah gets jealous; Tom is tired of sex; and Justin, Holly and Uncle Saul are all MIA.
I couldn't be happier with how far Kitty and Nora have gone in their fabulous mother-daughter relationship since that not-so-stellar pilot episode. Having the two of them get back into the dating pool together was sheer brilliance.
Kitty was trying hard to make an impression she was not interested in Senator McCallister. She, however, ended up being tricked into going out on dinner date with him, and that ended up all over the local newspapers.
Nora meanwhile learned the difference between fake boobs and chicken cutlets and then met a distinguished old gentleman who happened to be gay. She only happened to realize that a teenie weenie bit later than we did.
No surprise both ladies agreed to a "manfast".
Kevin was not his usual confident self. Which means he really likes his gym buddy Chad. After all he did call him a "Greek God" the morning after.
On the other hand, could one blame him if he was only feeling awkward? As if dating a closeted man wasn't bad enough, his Chad was also a soap stud with a girlfriend. And we know those are bad news. Now I really wonder how it all plays out in the next 6 or so episodes. Someone's getting hurt, that's for sure.
According to this preview next week the Walkers are doing a party and it's all about... sex?

Hehe, stay tuned for episode 13. It's a doozy. :)
Btw, I loved Kevin's quote: "I wish Justin wasn't in rehab. He has great gaydar." :D LOL Too funny that Kevin's youngest brother has better gaydar than he does.
Btw, great episode this turned out to be written by the an Alias team writers. So happy they came on board. You probably know my take on Chad/Kevin or Jason Lewis (you can probably find me complaining all over the place), but the kiss wasn't bad, just the camera angle was weird and the panning out was even weirder. I just didn't find Lewis' uncomfortability before the kissing scene fun to watch. Oh well....straight actors....
