Aquaman & The "Justice League" Gang May Return to The CW
JANUARY 28, 2007: Since The CW aired the crucial "Justice League" episode of "Smallville" fans have been buzzing about whether or not there is any chance we will be seeing a live action spin-off series focusing on the group of superheros. CW's President Dawn Ostroff weighs in.
According to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, although Dawn Ostroff could not say if CW would develop "Justice League" as a weekly series or not, there have been some discussions to make the project happen.
Ostroff underlined there are many issues to consider, especially the rights, and they would make the execution of this idea very difficult, but she would not dismiss the project, but rather say it could actually happen "down the road".
Former "American Idol" wannabe Alan Ritchson (pictured in this post in his Puma campaign) is one of the young men who guest starred in the episode returning as Aquaman.
Justin Hartley, who played his boss Oliver Queen (a.k.a. The Green Arrow) played Aquaman in a failed CW pilot which never made onto The CW's schedule, but did become a minor hit on Apple's I-Tunes service.
Surprisingly, although Ritchson's Aquaman romanced Erica Durance's Lois Lane is last season's "Aqua" episode, he did not share a single scene with her this year, as she had moved on to the young archer.

Damn he's a hottie alright! :)
Well, now you know why 'Aqua' was my favorite 'Smallville' episode last year... :)
Alan has always been one fine model. I just wish AI2 didn't make him out to be a total jerk. I wish he would have tried out again but this acting gig suits him more.
But I highly agree. Nice bod. Damn hottie. :)
