Wisteria Lane's most wicked desperate housewife Nicolette Sheridan appeared on Ellen Degeneres' 800th show to give the beloved comedian and talk show host some silly string action.

Ellen played Nic's classic Martini commercial, we learned what Nic did with Michael Bolton's toes, and to top it all off, Slash made a special appearance to help Nicolette sing a song for Ellen.

Rumors have recently surfaced (fueled by "Desperate" camp) that Nicolette's time on "Housewives" is about to expire as her character Edie will "cross a huge moral boundary that she's never crossed before and it will have devastating consequences for her."

I am a little annoyed by how nasty the writers have tried to make Edie over the years. Her being rude to Susan was priceless, but burning down houses or torturing Carlos not that much.

I do hope whatever moral boundary Marc Cherry and the gang will make her cross this time it won't mean the end of Edie Britt, and the time-shifting twist at the end of the season will allow for her return.

What would "Desperate Housewives" be without good ole fifth wheel Edie? Thank heavens Marc Cherry was sane enough not to off Nicolette Sheridan's hilarious character in the recent tornado storyline.

Speaking of the former "Knots Landing" babe - following her quick Polish escapade, Sheridan was in London, UK on Wednesday doing some Christmas shopping in style.

"Desperate" Sheridan in Poland

"Desperate Housewife" Nicolette Sheridan who has been out of work for over a month due to the Hollywood writers' strike, is using the production break to join Michael Bolton on his trip to the Polish capital Warsaw.


The 54-year-old singer is in Europe to perform at the 15th anniversary of a private Polish TV Station and appeared happy as he dined out with Sheridan at one of the city's most upmarket eateries.


Bolton will appear with soul singer Pattie LaBelle and former boy band hunk Nick Lachey on NBC's pre-Christmas 4-day reality event "Clash Of The Choirs" to find America's best amateur choir.

Nicolette Sheridan To Return To "Desperate Housewives"

I am not sure if the old lady in these images fell to the ground because she spotted "Desperate Housewives" star Nicolette Sheridan in the street or not, but if she is a fan she might as well stand up and jump around as Wisteria Lane's blond bombshell is coming back.

The ex-star of CBS classic soap "Knots Landing," Sheridan helped the old lady to her feet and comforted her with a hug. As TV Guide reports, the actress will be back on the set of the Golden Globe winning dramedy when the cast begins filming the fourth season on July 9th.

"Desperate Housewives" Star Nicolette Sheridan at Stuart Weitzman Luxury Suite

The woman who is about to rock Wisteria Lane with her conniving ways come Sunday, March 4 was enjoying some pre-Oscars glitz and glamor at the Stuart Weitzman Luxury Suite in West Hollywood on Saturday.

Nicolette Sheridan whose vixen Edie Britt is about to become the key character in upcoming story lines on ABC's "Desperate Housewives", visited shoe designer Stuart Weitzman on Saturday.

The suite featured a collection of shoes designed exclusively for nominees and presenters at today's Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood.


On Friday, the designer announced that award-winning actress Anika Noni Rose, who co-starred in 2006's hit film "Dreamgirls", will wear the Stuart Weitzman Diamond Dream Shoe to the 79th Annual Academy Awards.

The Diamond Dream Shoe, created exclusively for the actress, is a silver evening shoe with a stiletto heel, adorned with 1,420 individual brilliant cut Kwiat diamonds, weighing over 30 carats. The spectacular shoe is worth half a million dollars.

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall, Who's The Hottest "Desperate Housewife" Of All?

On March 4, "Desperate Housewives" will enter its temporary "Bree-less" phase. Will "Knots Landing" veteran Nicolette Sheridan finally use her 5 minutes of glory to steal the show?

Many have believed Eva Longoria's sultry material girl Gabrielle was the hottest housewife on Wisteria Lane.

Unfortunately for Gabrielle, the time has come for the vampy real estate agent and resident slut Edie Britt to no longer be the fifth wheel.



The show is introducing Edie's ex-husband Charles and 9-year old son Travers who bonds with Carlos, Edie's future love interest.

Nicolette Sheridan, who you can see here in a recent photoshoot, has jokingly dismissed the idea she is being promoted and her character is becoming the new center of the show, saying modestly that Edie "has always been at the forefront of the show".

The actress did not reveal whether she would be the one walking down the aisle in a big Hollywood-style wedding ceremony by the end of the season, but she did promise a lot of people are going to be very unhappy with Edie Britt on Wisteria Lane.

Nicollette Sheridan To Be Front And Center On "Desperate Housewives"

"Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry revealed on Sunday's TCA Winter Press Tour session that in the wake of Marcia Cross' absence from several episodes of ABC's Sunday night dramedy, actress Nicollette Sheridan who plays vixen Edie Britt will become front and center of the show for the remainder of the season.

ABC President Steve McPherson confirmed the 44-year old actress was put on bed rest last week, which was a little earlier than the network had originally anticipated. For this reason, ABC is very happy that Cross agreed to shoot the remaining scenes for her arc at her home, in her bed.

McPherson said Cross will be seen in the next 3 episodes on January 21, February 11 and February 18 when Kyle McLachlan's character Orson Hodge will finally reveal his family's sinister past. ABC will air a rerun on January 28 and pre-empt the show on February 4 and 25.

Marcia Cross who is supposed to give birth to twins in April may be back for the season finale in May which is normally filmed in early April, but Cross' scenes could be done at a later point to accommodate the actress. This would of course depend on whether Marcia will be ready to work so soon.

In the meantime, Nicolette Sheridan will become front and center of the show and Marc Cherry revealed that we will finally see her son that the deceased character Martha Huber referred to in the show's pilot. Also, Edie will have a fascinating romance with someone already living on Wisteria Lane. Do you think what I think?

Nicolette Sheridan's Movie Bombs

Being femme fatale on a prime-time soap opera does have a lot of perks, but getting premium movie roles probably isn't one of them.

premiere of her new movie "Codename: The Cleaner" starring Cedric the Entertainer and Lucy "Desperate Housewives" vixen Nicolette Sheridan attended the Los AngelesLiu on Thursday.



The film was completely butchered by movie critics who called it "painful to sit through", "not nearly bad enough to be thoroughly enjoyable" and simply "a complete dud".



Sadly for everyone involved, the movie-going audience seems to agree as the film is projected to make about $4,3 million at the box office according to the latest estimates, placing it outside the top-10 movies for the weekend.
