TV Ratings: Thursday (2/07/08)
Did 'Lost' manage to hold on to those great numbers from last week? Who won the 10pm battle of new shows "Eli Stone" (ABC) and "Lipstick Jungle" (NBC)? And how many people tuned in to see the return of "Survivor"? Click and find out.
"Lost" was the #1 telecast of the evening, down a million from last week, but once again generating some of its best numbers since fall 2006.
"Eli Stone" lost 16% of viewers who tuned in to see the pilot last Thursday. The show however bested the disappointing premiere of NBC's "Lipstick Jungle."
Meanwhile, the network was quick to renew "Apprentice" for another season. But how would the show do if CBS aired an all-new "CSI"?
We may not find out till January 2009, as "Celebrity Apprentice" is scheduled to conclude its limited run in late March.
Also on the reality front, over 13 million people watched the return of "Survivor." The show is however down over 2 million viewers from February 2007.
The CW's combo of "Smallville" and "Supernatural" averaged only 3.32 million viewers for the night, down from 3.75 million it scored on February 8, 2007.
