Ratings Special: Top-30 Freshman Shows

As the writers' strike draws to a close and Hollywood is (hopefully) about to return to production of your favorite shows, decisions will soon have to be made which freshman series return next season. Here's a top-30 rundown of the most successful new TV shows this season, that may give you some indication what rookie shows to expect back on tube next fall.

Please note the chart is based on the regular programs ranking report for the 2007/2008 season through Sunday, February 3, 2008.

The ratings include the results of repeat episodes (if applicable). For instance, the results of "Gossip Girl" are somewhat diluted due to several encore airings. Most new shows are however seldom repeated.

Only one episode of "Eli Stone" aired through 2/03/08, placing the series in the 4th place. The show may go down the chart with subsequent airings.

"Bionic Woman" is unlikely to get a second season renewal because its ratings plummeted from 14 to 6 million in the course of 2 months.

1. MOMENT OF TRUTH (Fox, 20.34 million)
2. TERMINATOR (Fox, 12.98 million)
