Matthew Fox's "Vantage Point" Opens Feb. 22
"Lost" star's new action-packed thriller "Vantage Point" opens nationwide on Friday, February 22. The actor traveled this week to Spain (where the movie takes place), France and Russia to promote the movie.
"Vantage Point," which boasts an all-star cast including Dennis Quaid, Forest Whitaker, Sigourney Weaver, William Hurt and others, centers around an assassination attempt on the President of the United States told from 8 different perspectives.
Fox, 41, plays a secret service agent assigned to protect President Ashton (Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror. Chaos ensues when President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Spain.
Fox, who soon returns to the Hawaii-based set of ABC's "Lost" to film the remainder of season 4, also appears in the big screen version of the popular animated series "Speed Racer" later this year.
The actor will be promoting the movie on ABC's "Good Morning, America" on Monday morning, and then on "Regis and Kelly" on Tuesday.

This movie actually looks like something I'd pick up on DVD one day.
