VIDEO: Lucy Liu on Letterman

"Cashmere Mafia" star Lucy Liu appeared on CBS' "The Late Show with David Lettreman" last night to promote her new ABC drama which moves to its regular time slot tonight at 10/9c.

Having finally seen the pilot episode I can say the drama exceeded my very low expectations, although it is certainly no "Sex and the City."

Soaps like these do however require time to find their unique voice and allow their cast to gel. Will "Cashmere Mafia" be given that opportunity or will it go down as an easily forgotten midseason filler killed by the writers' strike?
