Top-10 New TV Shows
Is "Samantha Who" still the #1 new show this season? Which two shows are doing equally well (or badly, depending on your point of view)? And which shows are fading fast and heading down the chart? Take a look at the current status of your favorite freshman show (for the week ending December 2).
"Private Practice" may soon regain its top status since the inflated ratings for "Samantha Who" have taken a tumble this week following the conclusion of its former lead-in "Dancing with the Stars."
"Bionic Woman" which scored only 6 million viewers last week (and will therefore continue to go down the chart) may be the biggest loser this season as it began its run on a par with "Private Practice."
Although CBS shows "Cane" and "The Big Bang Theory" share the same ratings this week, the former has been declining, while the latter has shown growth, as has NBC's "Chuck."
1. SAMANTHA WHO, ABC (14.05 million)
2. PRIVATE PRACTICE, ABC (12.73 million)
3. WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, ABC (10.34 million)
PUSHING DAISIES, ABC (10.34 million)
5. BIONIC WOMAN, NBC (9.65 million)
6. DIRTY SEXY MONEY, ABC (8.99 million)
7. CANE, CBS (8.94 million)
BIG BANG THEORY (8.94 million)
9. CHUCK (8.50 million)
10. BIG SHOTS (8.39 million)
Moonlight (CBS), Life (NBC), Kid Nation (CBS), Journeyman (NBC), Carpoolers (ABC), Back to You (FOX), Phenomenon (NBC), Cavemen (ABC), Viva Lauglin (CBS) and K-Ville (FOX) round out the top-20 in this exact order.
Of all the top-10 shows "Bionic Woman," "Cane" and "Big Shots" are the three that have not been picked up for a full season yet.
1 Comments:
Even though Journeyman has not been brought back by NBC, there is a growing fan base for this incredible show. More people are watching Journeyman online than they did on television, because Journeyman wasn't promoted very well and it was given a lousy time slot. If NBC would bring back Journeyman, the ratings would shoot right up from the start.
