"Journeyman" Not Canceled, Yet. Series Finale December 19?
NBC has yet to confirm whether "Journeyman" will be renewed or canceled for 2008, but the network has already confirmed the studio has been able to film all 13 episodes that have been ordered and when they will air.
Some fans may be worried tonight after they see "Life" in "Journeyman's" space. That's because the network is giving the show the plum post-"Heroes" finale slot tonight to build audience before airing again in its regular timeslot on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the last 3 episodes of "Journeman" will air the following two Mondays (December 10 and 17) and then on Wednesday, December 19 (in "Life's" timeslot). That episode may also be the show's series finale if NBC decides not to pick up the back 9.
Season to date, "Journeman" has averaged 7.22 million viewers and a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49 ranking 62nd on the top-100 chart. The most recent episode, however, pulled in only 6.18 million viewers.
NBC has already given full season renewals to the aforementioned "Life" and its other freshman drama on Monday nights, "Chuck." The fate of "Journeyman" may depend on the performance of these final episodes and whether or not there will be a speedy resolution to the Writers' Strike.

Thanks for the update on the show. I'm not a huge fan. When "October Road" came back on last week, I checked that out instead.
The show doesn't seem to know if it is sci-fi, a drama or what. Kevin McKidd is awesome and should be back next season in something good.
