Golden Globe Nominations Announced
Nominations for the January 13 Golden Globes Awards have been announced in Hollywood this morning by "Heroes" babe Hayden Panettiere, actor Ryan Reynolds and director Quentin Tarantino. Here is a list of nominees in the TV-related categories.
I will personally be rooting for Donald Sutherland who is absolutely brilliant in his role as Tripp Darling on ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money."
I am also hoping AMC's original drama "Mad Men" about ad execs in the 1960s will be recognized for its outstanding quality.
In the comedy category my vote most certainly goes to ABC's enchanting fantasy procedural "Pushing Daisies."
I am very disappointed though that ABC's comedy "Ugly Betty" (which has been on the roll this season) and drama "Lost" (which has bounced back last spring after a somewhat tedious Others-centric mini-season with a string of truly amazing episodes) have been left out.
January 2008 ceremony may be affected by the writers' strike as some of the actors may opt to boycott it in support of the striking writers.

Yay for Pushing Daisies. Definetly am wanting it to win all three of it's categories. HOPEFULLY, if it does win, that will help it's chances of survival at least somewhat.
I don't know how familiar Anna Friel is with American audiences but I remember her when she was on Brookside here in the UK. She's under rated and I'm glad she has finally got some credit for her amazing work. America Ferrera is a brilliant actress too but she's recieved her fair share of awards over the past year.
Looks very much Emmy nominations!?
I would rather see Chandra Wilson over Katherine Heigl.
And no nominations for DH or Lost. What were people thinking?
Glad for all "DAMAGES§"-nominations-
Just started catching up with this series and its frekaing awesome.
Kinda like "Glenn Close in The Devil wears Donna Karan"... LOL!
Where is DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES?!!! Justin, aren't you disappointed? This season is the best season ever!!!
