TV Ratings: Black Friday (11/23/07)
The final Friday of November sweeps 2007 put CBS on top, while FOX as always sank to the very bottom finishing behind wrestling on The CW. Meanwhile, the ABC Thanksgiving curse may have affected Friday's ratings as well, as "Women's Murder Club" scored its series-low numbers. Still, the show managed to win its timeslot.
ABC kicked things off with "Men in Trees" which pulled in only 5.57 million viewers, while its lead-out "Women's Murder Club" went down to 7.76 million, a series-low. The Angie Harmon-fronted procedural also scored its worst 18-49 ratings (1.6) which put it behind The CW in the hour (1.7). 20/20 finished last in the hour.
Freshman drama "Moonlight" however remains the weakest link in CBS' otherwise winning line-up, helping ABC's "Women's Murder Club" win the 9 p.m. hour in total viewers despite losing 1.2 million week-to-week.
