Top-5 New Shows: Samantha Rules Rookies
Not only did "Samantha Who" remain this fall's top new show on this week's top-5 chart, but the comedy also managed to post growth, while most freshman series declined. "The Bionic Woman" was pre-empted. Here's how the rest of the class of 2007 is doing.
ABC's "Women's Murder Club" bounced back this week pulling in the third highest number of viewers. Nevertheless, the show is not doing well among adults 18-49 at all, as it scored a very low 1.9 rating.
By comparison, CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" which also added viewers this week ending up with a total of 8.92 million viewers, posted a much more competitive 3.6 rating in the demo.
Although "Pushing Daisies" won its timeslot in both total viewers and adults 18-49, the show can no longer be seen among the top-5.
The show that doesn't deserve to be in the top-5 is ABC's "Big Shots" as its fast nationals were artificially inflated by a "Grey's Anatomy" overrun.

1. SAMANTHA WHO (4.9)

Don't even know why would the idea of a Bionic Woman get accepted in the first place... The show is soooo stoooopid. Bet Isiah Washington is washing the toilet of some hospital now!
