DVR Ratings Have Arrived
Nielsen has finally released DVR ratings (live plus 7 days) for the premiere week (September 24-30), revealing "Grey's Anatomy" is the top time-shifted show with 3.89 million additional viewers.
The ranking for most shows remained the same as on the original chart which only included DVR viewing the night of the premiere, but the total number of viewers went up.
These numbers include data for time-shifted viewing for up to 7 days. For example, CSI remains the highest rated show for the week, but it got an additional 3.37 million viewers on DVR, which means its total number of viewers for the season premiere episode was 27.27 million.
It appears that Wednesday at 9 is the new Thursday at 9. All three competing shows aired in the ultra-competitive timeslot on ABC, CBS and NBC ("Private Practice," "Criminal Minds" and "The Bionic Woman") cracked the top-10.
In addition to top-10 shows "Private Practice" and "The Bionic Woman," NBC's "Journeyman" is the only freshman show to crack the top-20.

There's a thing I don't get : why these numbers are different from the ones of futon critic and hollywood reporter ?

So these ratings are for the Premiere week eh? Interesting I guess.
The chart above lists total time-shifted DVR audience - including the viewers who watched the shows on DVR the same night, but at a later time.
The articles in Hollywood Reporter and The Futon Critic only list added viewers beyond the premiere night.
But the end result is the same: CSI is listed on all DVR charts (as well as the one above) as having a total of 27.27 million viewers within 7 days.

So when will the DVR ratings for Pushing Daisies be released?
PD premiered in week #2, so I guess we'll have those ratings next Monday. I would suppose DVR will lift the show's total series premiere audience to about 14 million or a little bit more.
Well, these numbers are indeed interesting.
