"Ugly Betty" Spoilers: Marc Gets a Boyfriend
JULY 16, 2007: Outfest, one of the largest gay and lesbian film festivals in the world which began its 25th year on Thursday, welcomed the cast of ABC's Golden Globe-winning comedy "Ugly Betty" at Directors' Guild on Sunday and they shed some light on the upcoming storylines for the show's second season.
The audience members welcomed the cast cordially, giving actress Judith Light who has shown great love to the gay and lesbian community during her career, the warmest welcome and a standing ovation.
Michael Urie who plays the gay character on the show confirmed his Marc will finally have a love interest in the upcoming second season. Legendary Tony-winning actress Patti LuPone who played his homophobic mother will return.
Just like Marc Cherry of "Desperate Housewives" the producers are considering doing a musical episode of the series. Also, there is indication that Justin's father Santos may have survived the presumed-fatal season finale robbery.

You like Marc, Justin? Beneath all the snide comments, he does have a kind heart...it would be nice if he showed it a bit more! I guess I have no chance if you are into Marc...

I am sure if they gave Marc someone to genuinely fall in love with he would show that kind heart of his.
But they better not break up the dynamic duo of Marc and Amanda. Michael Urie and Becki Newton are the coolest couple on television! :)
