CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" Spoilers: #2.01 Enrique Iglesias & Mandy Moore Guest Star

Enrique Iglesias has signed on to play "a sexy guy who looks like Enrique Iglesias" on the 3rd season premiere of CBS' fab comedy "How I Met Your Mother." Meanwhile, Mandy Moore pulls a Lindsay Lohan and a Britney Spears in a single role. Plus, the countdown is on to some serious sweeps slapping.

Entertainment Weekly broke the news that Mandy Moore will portray, as creator Carter Bays puts it, "a tattooed, vodka-swilling train wreck that Mandy Moore thankfully never turned into." She is said to take Ted to a tattoo parlor.



The character Amy appears in the season premiere episode "Wait For It" (airs Monday, September 24 at 8/7c on CBS) and she is described as the ultimate bad decision that freshly single and on the rebound Ted meets on his first night out after splitting with Robin.

The girl who is not destined to become the titular "mother" may be getting some action of her own. TV Guide broke the news that Enrique Iglesias will also guest star in at least 2 episodes as Gael, a sexy surfer, sculptor, flamenco guitarist, chef, and massage therapist that romances Robin.


The couple will go out on a double date with Lilly and Marshall, who try not to like Gael for Ted's sake. But the charming Brazilian who initially drives Ted nuts, soon draws everyone into his quirky world. Enrique who already appeared on CBS' "Two and a Half Men" last season will appear in at least 2 episodes.

Finally, if you click HERE you can see the website that opens up on Barney's computer after Marshall sends him an email with a link to the website that literally counts down the time to when "the slap" will occur (November sweeps, of course). Those who have seen the "Slap Bet" episode last November will get what the whole slapping thing is about.
