Isaiah Washington Goes Bionic
The scandalous firing of "Grey's Anatomy" star Isaiah Washington will have a repercussion we didn't see coming. That superpowered "Bionic Woman" Jamie (Michelle Ryan) may have to kick his ass.
NBC is expected to announce today that Washington will join its high-profile remake of the classic 1970s sci-fi drama for at least 5 episodes. Washington has allegedly also pitched an action drama to the network for its 2008-2009 season.
USA Today reports the actor will play an outsider with a mysterious agenda and may help Jamie or turn against her.
NBC had already been tied to Washington's name last month when rumor had it the actor, who had just finished his Anger Management Media Tour with a pre-taped appearance on Larry King (Not That) LIVE, would join its veteran drama "Law & Order."
So, let's see... Since he took over NBC, the new president Ben Silverman resurrected "The Apprentice" and hired Isaiah Washington. I wonder if canceling "Friday Night Lights" is next on his agenda. Is this really the man who helped create "Ugly Betty"?

Note to self watch Private Practice instead since it's on the same timeslot. After Isaiah's mud-slinging and antics there is nothing I will watch and support him in. It's great that he has a job, but I can no longer differante him and the characters he plays.
Lay off Isaiah. I do understand that this is your blog and you have your opinions; but let's not be naive nor biased in forming them. I also understand that many that visit this blog may not care for him, but no one knows who to believe when it comes to his recent backlash. I, for one, do not believe Isaiah's actions were meant to harm as though they were portrayed. We all know how things work in Hollywood-it's all about "saving face". With that said, the very fact that ABC refused to comment when Isaiah made his last appearance on cable TV addressing the issue, further leads me to believe things did not happen as though they led us to believe. As Isaiah himself said, he was been in this industry for 21+ yrs. He was worked along side so many people. Most of Hollywood is homosexual, so what purpose would be served in he acting they way “they” said? Nothing! I do not believe that things went down as though reported. I Isaiah’s last interview. I believe things went as he stated. I read his body language. Not once did he stutter. He made eye-contact. Spoke intelligently etc. When ABC asked to comment, they declined. That in itself speaks negatively.
Actually, he didn't make eye contant. He broke eye contact many times throughout the Larry King Live interview. His eyes would either go to up the lights, or down low to his hands. He didn't have eye contact when he was mud-slinging his fellow castmembers. Furthemore, his "story" is no longer credible since he changed it on a weekly basis. If we really want to be technical way back in Nov. is when the story started changing. First he said he never laid a hand on Patrick, and wouldn't hurt him. Cut to July 2007 he admitts he got physical with Patrick which is an automatic dismissial in many companies.
One week it was his race that was the reason he got fired. The week prior no it's all evil mastermind T.R. Knight's fault for somehow giving him the excuse to flip out on Patrick. First it was "philsophical disagreement" between him and Patrick, then it went to being T.R. fault, then to Isaiah's trying to be the leader and imply that Patrick cannot act. I mean shall we go on the other contradictions and changes to his story.
ABC not saying a statement is nothing new, and IMO it was right thing to do. To counterargue Isaiah would make it a bloodbath, and no one wants that. Cause all Isaiah did was make himself look very bad. Let's not forget Isaiah's 10 year record of misbehavior starting with his dismissial from the tv show High Incident to later continue on Ghost Ship and Soul Food. GA Incidents wasn't a one time incident. It was one of many incidents Isaiah did, and that man still hasn't taken responsibility because it went out the window when he started mud-slinging people for his own actions. His apologizes are no invalid now. Justin has every right to his blog and say what he wants to say. He's one of the many who do, and I do appreciate reading Justin's blogs because they are very through for the most the part.
