Freddy Rodriguez to Join "Ugly Betty"
"Six Feet Under" star Freddy Rodriguez is expected to join the cast of ABC's "Ugly Betty" in the role of the recently announced character Gio, as part of a new love triangle on the Golden Globe-winning comedy.
As you may have read, Gio will be an ambitious, but lovable man who runs a snack cart at Mode Magazine. He and the show's main heroine Betty are expected to develop feelings for each other. But what does that mean for Betty's relationship with Henry?
Gio is expected to be on the show for the entire second season. During this time Henry may finally resolve his issues with girlfriend Charlie who, as we have learned, has lied that he is the father of her unborn child.

Have you heard anything about Christopher Gorham staying on the show? I know you are not a big fan of Henry, but what can I say, I love the Clark Kent thing he has goin on :)
Not yet, but I wouldn't worry about that... Love triangles are the bread and butter of telenovelas... As well as their parodies... :)

I like the geeky Henry. He's such a cute love interest for Betty. Betty doesn't need to be with her boss. That's too "predictable".
This new character, Gio, played by Freddy Rodriguez, is going to be great! Freddy is such a great actor and he'll fit right in.
I wonder if the whole Spanish language will be brought up. Maybe Henry will learn Spanish to woo Betty's heart? Hmm... :P
