Makeupless Katherine Heigl Enjoys Cigarette & "Knocked Up" Movie Stardom
Katherine Heigl, the star of ABC's hit drama "Grey's Anatomy," was snapped without make-up in Providence Rhode Island on Sunday enjoying a cigarette while making a phone call as fans across the nation made her new comedy "Knocked Up" a hit with the final reported box office tally $30,7 million.
The comedy which cost $30 million to produce was pitched as being from the makers of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and the marketing reflected the same sense of humor, mixing crudity and pop culture references with a relatable premise. "Virgin" opened to $21.4 million two summers ago and closed with $109.4 million.
That means "Knocked Up" exceeded the opening weekend sales of its predecessor by about 50%.
Congratulations, Katherine! You're a movie star with box office appeal. Take that, naysayers!

I'm really glad for Katherine (she looks thin in this picture). I really want to see this movie, but it's not in brazilian theathers yet.
