"Friday Night Lights" Star Joins "Speed Racer"
Scott Porter (pictured above at NBC Upfronts with co-star Minka Kelly,) who plays the paralyzed star quarterback of the Dillon Panthers on NBC's critically-acclaimed drama "Friday Night Lights," is joining the cast of the new Wachowski brothers movie "Speed Racer."
The big-screen version of the classic 1960s animated series will begin production today in Germany. Emile Hirsch plays the titular character. The cast also includes Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon, and LOST star Matthew Fox. "Speed Racer" will be filmed in high-definition.

Scott is such a nice guy and he deserves all of the attention he is getting. I hope this movie really boosts his career so we can see alot more of him in the future.

lol I really am curious to see how they handle this. Its humerous to see how cheap anime were back in the day.
I live just a mere mile from the studio...
...so hopefully I'll meet someone of the cast which is getting bigger every day.
