Beckham Reality Series to Turn into Special

Hollywood press reports that Victora Beckham's new reality series will be turned into an NBC prime-time special. "Football wife" is pictured above shopping for furniture at L.A.'s trendy Minotti store on Monday.

There has been a lot of speculation in British media that production on the 6-episode series focusing on the Beckhams' transition to Los Angeles would be canceled altogether.

Problems on the show allegedly arose once Victoria's husband, soccer star David Beckham, was recalled to play with the English national team late last month.


According to sources, NBC cameras were following Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice, as recently as Sunday.

David Beckham is set to play with Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy after his contract with Real Madrid expires June 30.

NBC has yet to comment on the story.
