Will T.R. Knight Be Back on "Grey's Anatomy"?
Actor T.R. Knight who co-hosted the 52nd annual OBIE awards (honoring achievements in the off-Broadway stage) in New York City on Monday with fellow actor and "Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon said to Access Hollywood he did not know if he was coming back to "Grey's Anatomy" next season or not.
The actor's character George O'Malley's fate was left up in the air in the medical drama's season finale episode last week after he failed his exams and vowed not to repeat his internship at Seattle Grace.
Given similar statements by co-star Katherine Heigl and Isaiah Washington (who were both a part of the scandal that marred the show's third season) one can wonder is this is a ploy by the show's writers and cast to keep the viewer interest during the summer hiatus or if there really is unprofessional attitude towards the actors.
"If you're supposed to report back to work in a month and a half, I would really like to know that," he said to Access Hollywood, "because I would like to know if I can shave my head."
Nevertheless there seems to be at least some kind of tension between T.R. Knight and the drama showrunners as the actor gives a not very flattering insight into the network's handling of the whole homophobic fiasco in an upcoming issue of "The Advocate."
Scoop sleuths at TV Guide and E! Online have however indicated T.R. Knight will be back for a fourth season of "Grey's Anatomy." The latest reports seem to indicate Isaiah Washington, however, may not necessarily be that lucky.

Ausiello said again today that TR is not leaving.
And i'm really glad for it. I was really afraid of him leaving.
If Washington returns, I will not look at the show. Washington's actions leave me to wonder is he 'a closet gay'? If you are wondering I am a straight nurse. I work with HIV and Chronic Hep. C patients. We regularly discuss Grey's and there were many comments and questions about Washington and his 'fear of gays'.
If you leave out Washington's slurs and the controversy surrounding them, it is clear that Knight adds so much more to the show than Washington does. I'm actually so tired of his character! Whereas Knight's character has more than one layer. If Knight leaves, they will definitely have one less viewer.
I really hope Knight doesn't leave the show because George is one of my favorite characters. He's one of the funniest characters on the show(Especially the scene where his father get's shot and he yells out YOU JUST SHOT DAD IN THE ASSHOLE!") and at the same time he's also a great dramatic character. I'm not saying I'll stop watching the show if he leaves but it will be a disappointment for me if he does.
