Weekend Ratings: CBS Procedurals Shatter ABC Soaps

ABC's winning combo of "Desperate Housewives" and "Brothers & Sisters" sure doesn't repeat well. The reruns of season premieres of Sunday night sudsers scored about 3,5 million viewers who tuned in to see Bree have an orgasm.

Self-contained procedurals "Cold Case" and "Without a Trace" pulled in about 9 million viewers for CBS in the same time period, while FOX's NASCAR coverage peaked at about 10 p.m. when almost 10 million people tuned in.

NBC is giving viewers a chance to discover their critical darling "Friday Night Lights" which was renewed for a second season despite poor ratings. The drama however got only about 2,5 million viewers as it battled "Housewives" at 9 p.m.

Maybe thats because many people like myself, Enjoy Cold Case, so we wanted to see the episodes that we missed all year.
