Sarah Jessica Parker Launches Conservative Cheap-Chic Fashion Line
Sarah Jessica Parker has launched her new cheap-chic clothing line Bitten for Steve + Barry's in a bid to cover up young America. The star has already branded today's young Hollywood stars too vulgar.
Every time I put up a post about Sarah Jessica Parker I get into a serious denial about the end of "Sex and the City." It has been 3 years and I am still upset Carrie & Co. are gone. Let it go, Justin. Let it go.
Sarah, who will be seen in the next couple of years in as many as 4 new movies, 2 of which she has already finished, has made her point loud and clear:
"There's not going to be any inappropriate midriff showing, regardless of your age. I really don't care for it. I feel like, as a culture, we have seen enough damage done by it. It's provocative in a way that I just don't feel comfortable with."
Now, although I personally find nothing wrong with inappropriately provocative fashion, I would agree it is very unfortunate that a number of young Hollywood stars and starlets who champion that fashion come with little substance and even less brain.

I heart Sex and the City! I miss it so much, probably my favorite show next to Lost (completely different types of shows!) I still think they had plenty of storylines in them...too bad it had to end.
As for the fashion police, I agree, sometimes its best left to the imagination what is under the clothes and not have it right in your face. But I wonder, do the same rules hold true for men vs women? :)
