Eva Longoria Promotes "Desperate Housewives" on Spanish TV
Eva Longoria appeared on Spanish television TVE yesterday to promote the April 25th launch of the third season of her ABC hit series "Desperate Housewives" or "Mujeres Desperadas" as it is known in Spanish speaking territories.
The actress spoke about the evolution of her character Gabrielle Solis and said she was drawn to the role because it breaks the stereotypes some people hold about the Latino community.
During her interview, which took place in Barcelona, Longoria praised Spanish and Mexican cinema and added that she dreams of working with world renowned directors Pedro Almodóvar and Robert Rodriguez.
She also said it was an honor to work with Michael Dougles and Kiefer Sutherland ("The Sentinel,") as they are two great American actors whose movies she had grown up with.
