Justin Hartley To Be Bewitched

"Smallville" hunk and former "Passions" star Justin Hartley whose failed 2006 CW pilot "Aquaman" you can now watch free on AOL's In2TV service stars in a new comedy pilot for the network playing roommate of a witch.

The as-yet-untitled project (there is a rumor it will be called 'Spell Bound') comes from Maggie Friedman ('Dawson Creek', 'Once and Again') and Hartley will play Denny, an obnoxiously cocky (and attractive) roommate to the lead female character (who happens to be a witch.)

Hartley is not expected to return to The CW's "Smallville" and reprise his role as the Green Arrow this season. The actor recently guest starred in an episode of CBS's "CSI: NY" playing a male model.
