Has "America's Next Top Model" Gone Too Far?
Women's rights groups have attacked The CW's reality contest "America's Next Top Model" after a pretty ugly stunt on Wednesday night when the wannabe models were asked to act like crime-scene corpses in this week's photo shoot challenge.
The president of the New York City chapter of the National Organization for Women called the stunt "supremely ironic" for a show "geared toward women and about women, and about glamour."
The president went on to tell the New York Daily News, "Violence against women is such a reality in our society that I certainly don't need the entertainment industry making entertainment out of it."
The CW and a rep for Tyra Banks declined comment.
