"American Idol" Shocker: Stephanie Edwards Axed!
What the frak!? Has America totally lost its mind? One of the best singers this season Stephanie Edwards was sent packing on tonight's "American Idol" results show, while the unwatchable Sanjaya Malakar continues to defy all logic not even ending in the bottom 3.
I have said it before, "American Idol" can no longer be taken seriously. The wannabe "singing competition" was once again reduced to its original reality show premise Wednesday night, when one of the three strongest singers in this year's already lackluster talent mix was axed from the competition.
Joining her on stage in the bottom two was the adorable Chris Richardson (who ever said I have to be impartial on this blog?) whose performance this week was hailed by the judges as one of his best ever. "Hideous Haley" [Scarnato] also failed to make it to the bottom 3.
Who's next to get the axe? Lakisha? Melinda? And who will be the next American Idol? Sanjaya? Hayley? Worst of all? The travesty of such caliber would no longer surprise me. Shame on you, America. Shame on you.

it'd be really funny if Sanjaya hula hula is the next idol.
They always have one "spoiler" that makes it through either because America pities them or they have a huge fan base apart from their singing ability. They usually make it to the last 6 to 8 but don't usually go any further. I did think Sanjaya had his best performance this week though (which isn't saying much LOL). I knew Stephanie would go early, she didn't have much rapport with the audience, I think Chris needs to not be so cocky and arrogant looking, maybe this will shake him up a bit!
You have to blame it on websites such as http://votefortheworst.com which tells people to vote for the worst performer and singer on the show. It's basically their way of going against the A.I. system. This is why I think A.I. needs to limit the number of votes per phone call and person. It's ridiculous that horrible singers are getting by.
