"Grey's Anatomy" Spin-Off NEWS: Tim Daly - New McDreamy, "Prison Break" Star Also Joins
Hollywood press reports Tim Daly is set to guest star in the "enhanced" two-hour episode of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," designed to serve as a springboard for a potential spinoff from the hit medical drama. Paul Adelstein who plays Kellerman on "Prison Break" also joined the pilot.
Paul Adelstein has also been cast as a guest star in that episode with a possibility to co-star on the potential spin off series fronted by "Grey's" regular Kate Walsh.
The story line for the two-hour episode, being written by "Grey's" creator/executive producer Shonda Rhimes, is being kept a top secret along with the details on the characters in the potential spin off.
However, according to the breakdown, Daly's character is described as "handsome, sincere, like a McDreamy." It was not clear what character Adelstein will play. The breakdown also includes a female psychiatrist and a female fertility specialist.
Daly most recently starred in ABC's critically-acclaimed series "The Nine".
