Brooke Shields Cast In NBC's "Lipstick Jungle"
Whoever said "look at where Brooke Shields' career has gone?" After he's done worrying about his own career, he might want to know Brooke has been cast in NBC's one-hour pilot "Lipstick Jungle" based on the New York Times best seller by "Sex and the City" author Candace Bushnell.
The comedy picks up where "Sex and the City" left off, following the stories of three power-hungry professional women who will do anything, including jeopardizing their personal and professional relationships, to get ahead.
It's a racy tale of women behaving badly that manages to shrewdly flip the tables to show how gender roles are essentially interchangeable given the right circumstances. Shields will play one of the women, a movie studio president and a harried wife and mother of three.

I remember a show called Central Park West that was brought to us by Darren Star. I was very hopeful of another Sex and the City but it flopped. Its hard to duplicate that kind of magic!
