VIDEO: Emmitt Smith Guest Stars on "How I Met Your Mother"
The Super Bowl fever is here and even the gang on CBS's hit sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" is watching the big game. Or at least that is what they will try to do after...
...a funeral prevents them from watching the Super Bowl live. Ted is determined to salvage the day and gets the group to make a pact not to find out who won before watching the game together the following night.
In what seems to be an impossible feat, Barney, Ted, Robin, Lily and Marshall try to get through the entire day without finding out the outcome of the biggest game of the year.
Smith, a prolific running back in the NFL for 15 years, was a member of three Super Bowl champion teams (1993, 1994 and 1996) with the Dallas Cowboys and was regular season and Super Bowl MVP in 1993.
He will play himself in the episode when a star-struck Barney recognizes the former NFL great on the street and does everything to find out who won the Super Bowl. Take a sneak peek at the "Monday Night Football" episode of "How I Met Your Mother".
