Ugly Betty Spoilers #114: "I'm Coming Out": The Most Shocking "Betty" Ever!
ABC is touting the February 1 episode of its Golden Globe winning hit comedy "Ugly Betty" as "the most shocking episode yet" adding that "a surprising and unexpected twist awaits viewers in what will be THE topic of conversation around the water cooler."
What?! And I thought the revelation that the masked woman was Daniel's presumed-dead brother Alex post-sex-change in the last episode WAS supposed to be the most surprising and unexpected twist ever.
In the episode entitled "I'm Coming Out" (airs February 1, ABC will repeat the episode "The Lyin', The Witch and The Wardrobe" tonight), it's Fashion Week in New York and Betty is hustling to ensure Mode's runway show goes off without a hitch.
To Betty's dismay, Daniel offers Hilda a job helping out with the show.
Wilhelmina is introduced to a new cosmetic technique, as Christina prepares for the debut of her very own designs.
Marc and Amanda resume their scheming ways in a mission to steal what will be the season's hottest fashion item.
Meanwhile, Daniel is moved by his father's decision to hand over the reigns of Meade Publications, when a visit from an old friend coaxes him into his old ways.
But nothing can prepare them for the frenzy that ensues when the Mode show is abruptly halted by a shocking revelation.
The masked woman's shocking announcement leaves Mode in chaos and the dysfunctional Meades at each others throats.
Guest stars include Christopher Gorham as Henry, Gina Gershon as Fabia (the Italian designer from the pilot episode), Bailey Chase as Becks (Daniel's friend) and Octavia Spencer as Constance.
Katherine McPhee makes a special guest appearance as herself.
