"Desperate" Huffman Says Husband Macy Deemed Her Book Too Shocking
In an interview with USA Today, "Desperate Housewives" star Felicity Huffman revealed her husband actor William H. Macy had asked her to take some sexual references out of her new book "A Practical Handbook For the Boyfriend" saying they were too shocking.
The book, which Huffman co-wrote with producer and long-time friend Patricia Wolff hit shelves last week.
The handbook offers guys who want to become good boyfriends (and women who want to transform them) tips on everything, from dating to male underwear and was based on real-life stories.
Some of the tips included are: how to apologize without really apologizing; how to tell if her "no" means "yes," or her "yes" means "no; and how to survive her driving.
The authors were photographed at Barnes & Noble book signing on Friday.
