"Ugly Betty" Wins Best New Family Series Award
Congratulations to the cast and crew of ABC's "Ugly Betty" who are among the winners of 8th Annual Family Television Awards. The ceremony that took place in Los Angeles on Wednesday airs on December 12 on The CW.
The CBS crime drama "Numb3rs" as well as The CW's adorable sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris" took top honors at the event at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Jennifer Lowe Hewitt of CBS' "Ghost Whisperer" and Tony Shalhoub of USA Network's "Monk" were top actors. Howie Mandell of NBC's "Deal Or No Deal" was top game show host.
ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" was the top reality show and "Ugly Betty" won the award for the Best New Series.
