Televisionista: Is "Desperate" Alma Alive And Scheming With Gloria Hodge?

Dixie Carter joined ABC's "Desperate Housewives" last week as the theatrically conceived mother of Orson Hodge, the mysterious new husband of Bree Van De Kamp. A woman of mystery herself, Gloria Hodge appeared to have great power over her son Orson. Now, it appears the old lady has been scheming and conniving with someone in the background and theories have arisen that Alma, Orson's former wife who disappeared in the season premiere may be in touch with Gloria.

Whoever seems to be pulling the strings from the background, Gloria is the mother whose immense depth of power over son Orson will be revealed on tonight's episode. The woman is fully aware of her son's secret and she is on a mission to protect it.
