WILL "GREY'S ANATOMY" FIRE WASHINGTON?

The on-screen drama of the new #1 show in America "Grey's Anatomy" may be getting McDreamier and McSteamier with each Nielsen-smashing episode, but the brewing behind-the-scenes drama is getting even juicier. The news are coming in that Shonda Rhimes-penned medical series may be letting one of their stars go.

Last week media reported on the fight between costars Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey which was confirmed by the represenatives for the drama to be true. Then cast member T.R. Knight came out yesterday in the new edition of "People" magazine as gay. Now, inside sources say the star may have been forced to come out in public after details of the mentioned behind-the-scenes fight became public.

Tabloid publication "The National Enquirer" published a story according to which Washington was irritated by an actor's late arrival for work which caused Dempsey to defend the actor. Then Washington allegedly grabbed Dempsey and yelled at him: "I'm not your little faggot like... [name deleted] ...".

The publication withheld the name of the person involved, but it is now apparent the actor in question was T.R. Knight who ideed came late for work that day (Monday, October 9). According to In Touch Weekly, given the extreme nature of the slur, the showrunners behind the red-hot drama are now looking into the possibility of replacing Isaiah Washington with another actor.

The atmosphere on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" is said to be tense with the cast divided over the embarassing event.

This issue is being blown way out of proprtion.. I hope Washington stays because his character is great and the chemistry between him and Sandra Oh is awesome, and I'm beyond sick of the mer/der crap already.

If he said that to Dempsey about T.R. Knight... then I don't have much sympathy for him.

Besides, I wouldn't care if he left she show. I love Grey's but he's the only one I could do without. His character bores the hell out of me.

Typical black star and ego trip. Most of them seem to have a chip on their shoulder.

To person who said "Typical Black Star and ego trip." The last time I checked this was america, and even if you are a celebrity you have the right to say whatever you like. None of us were on set and no one know exactly what was said. I think that your comment makes you a "Typical racist on an ego trip."
