THEY CAN DANCE
The cast of FOX's summer hit dance competition "So You Think You Can Dance" is taking its sold-out 2-month long 35-city tour across the US which has already proven to be the hottest dance event in the country.
The series which premiered in 2005 reached new Nielsen highs this summer (about 10 million viewers tuned in) as it consistently landed either at the top or near the top of the ratings chart making the renewal for a third season (summer 2007) a sure shot.
The group of ten finalists is led by this year's competition winner Benji Schwimmer, 22, who has turned down one of his prizes - to perform in Celine Dion's Las Vegas show "A New Day" in order to focus on his charity work as well as his love of ballroom dance.
Next week, the tour moves on to Washington, D.C., Charlotte, N.C. and Miami, FL. The final show is scheduled for October 29 (Providence, RI).
