'LOST' TRAILERS PROMISE
A SENSATIONAL SEASON PREMIERE

The third season of ABC's hit mystery series "Lost" is set to premiere on Wednesday, October 4 at 9/8c. All month long the network has been building momentum towards the event that Lost fans across the country have been waiting for for over four months. The first promo in early September featured the creepy voiceover of the leader of "Others", a man known to audiences as Henrly Gale.

"Without warning they fell from the sky... They stood together, fought together, endured together... They're free from their world, free from their past... They finally have a chance to discover who they really are... And what could be more terrifying... than that?", asked Henry looking at the camera in a close-up shot standing among Jack, Kate and Sawyer in the middle of the jungle.

Additional clips and promos have revealed all three core characters being pursued and imprisoned and Jack trying to free himself from what appears to be yet-another underground hatch only to open the door and shocked, let an enormous amount of water inside his prison.

The campaign's slogan is "Plan Your Escape".

ABC is repeating the second season finale on Monday night, followed by a Lost special on Wednesday.
