Gay Couple Back on "Desperate Housewives" (#414 "Opening Doors" Spoilers)
It's been a while, but those recurring gay characters Bob (Tuc Watkins) and Lee (Kevin Rahm) are coming back to Wisteria Lane in the first May sweeps episode of "Desperate Housewives" (airs May 4) to play a crucial role in Gabrielle's (Eva Longoria) storyline with special guest star Justine Batemen of "Family Ties" fame.
The storyline which may last all the way to the 2-hour conclusion on May 18 begins when cash-starved Gabrielle and Carlos rent a room in their posh house to a hip artist named Ellie (Batemen). Little do they know Ellie is a cocaine dealer and the police are after her.
Speaking of the gay couple, rumor has it - after the show leaps 5 years into the future following the May 18 fourth season finale - one of the men will be gone from Wisteria Lane and the other one will be living in a relationship with none other than Andrew Van De Kamp, a sexy 24-year old!
Season 5 scripts have yet to be written, so for the time being consider that a rumor only. "Opening Doors" (the 4th of 7 all-new post-strike episodes) airs May 4 at 9/8c on ABC.

I personally love the flash forward idea. Initially I thought it would be a jump the shark thing to do, but the characters are getting stale this season and it would be one way of purging a lot of characters and bringing in new ones. And hopefully if Andrew moves in with one of the gay guys its Tuc Watkins (?sp), and they get to kiss, unlike Luke and Noah! :)
I hate to see one of Bob & Lee to go... but if that's the way Andrew will stay on, then I have to suck it up.
