TV Ratings: Tuesday (1/15/08)
Well, we all knew "American Idol" was going to crush every show in its path. But can you estimate the damage? Just how big was the 7th season premiere of "American Idol"? Has the show finally gone down? Find out, after the jump.
"American Idol" was the most watched show of the evening pulling in 33.24 million viewers. Yes, the FOX contest is still the #1 show in America, but these figures are over 11% down from last year's opener (37.44 million).
NBC's reality hit "The Biggest Loser" was heavily impacted by the arrival of "Idol" losing almost 3 million viewers from last Tuesday. The loser of the evening was however ABC which appears to have given up on the night.
Kudos to CBS for scoring a very strong second position opposite the most challenging competition on TV. Mini-series "Comanche Moon" however lost over 3 million viewers since the premiere on Sunday night. The conclusion airs tonight.

AI rocks love the show last night, hopefully it will continue to give good ratings... thanks again for the ratings too bad for OTH it needs a diffrent day. :D
*sighs* Reality television is killing television.
JJ well lets hope its not going to ruin television its all that we can watch on tv right now... as soon as the writers strike is over TV will be back with new episodes :D
