TV Ratings: "Terminator" Launch Strong
NFL Playoffs continue to deliver mammoth ratings now lifting FOX to a dominant first place on Sunday night and giving the network's "Terminator" series a strong launch. Just how many people tuned in to see "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" which ended up being the strongest new series premiere this season? The answer - after the jump.
As stated below, 18.29 million viewers sampled the update on the Terminator franchise. Obviously that's not too hard if you have over 37 million people watching the program that leads into you. Will the new series hold on to those blockbuster ratings on Monday night following the return of "Prison Break"?
ABC's line-up suffered without the power of "Desperate Housewives" as "Brothers & Sisters" hit season low. Given the weaker lead-in the Greg Berlanti drama however did very well.
Meanwhile, the first of three installments of CBS' western saga "Comanche Moon" proved the mini-series format may not necessarily be dead after all. Can the mini hold on to those ratings on night 2 and 3?
