Hunk Watch: "Life is Wild's" Andrew St. John

Only a little over 1 million people tune into The CW's low rated drama "Life is Wild" and if you're not one of them here's what you may be missing out on - the 25-year old former "General Hospital" star Andrew St. John shirtless and glistening in hot African sun.

The native of Millinocket, Maine, St. John also appeared in CSI as well as last year's preposterous FOX thriller "Vanished."

On "Life is Wild" Andrew plays Jesse, a rebellious teenager from New York who cuts school and opposes all rules while resenting his mother's remarriage and the family's move to South Africa. This Sunday, however Jesse reaches out to his stepfather for help after an encounter with a prized cheetah.

"Prison Break" Star Gets 40 Months in Prison

Former "Prison Break" actor Lane Garrison who, under the influence of alcohol and cocaine, ran his car into a tree killing a 17-year old boy and injuring 2 15-year old girls, was sentenced today to 3 years and 4 months in prison.

Garrison, 27, who lived with pop star Jessica Simpson, her minister father and their family for a year after leaving home when he was 17, played the character David "Tweener" Apolskis on the FOX drama.

Friends and family members tried to submit a 3000-signature petition asking for the maximum sentence of 7 years, but the judge refused to accept the petition calling it "inappropriate."

Garrison met the killed boy and his friends in the checkout line at a local grocery store. The teenagers who recognized Garrison from 'Prison Break' invited him over to their party.

Garrison ran his 2001 Land Rover into a tree after leaving the party with kids to buy more alcohol on December 2, 2006.

Top-100 TV Shows (through 10/28/07)

It's Wednesday and that means it's time to check how your show is standing on the latest top-100 chart of shows airing on broadcast television. Although we still have the same winner, the gap between #1 and #2 is getting smaller and smaller. Can "Dancing with the Stars" become the new #1 show in America?

Last week the gap between CSI and "Dancing with the Stars" was 2.35 million viewers. This week the gap is down to only 800,000 viewers. Of course, ABC's dancing contest will go off air during the winter, but it would be great to see something else on top other than 7-year old "CSI" at least for a week before the end of November sweeps.

Although "Private Practice" remains in the top-20 (down a notch to #19), this fall's other big freshman "hit" "The Bionic Woman" continues to slide, down 3 places to #28. The show's current season average is much higher than last 2 weeks' ratings, so expect that decline to continue.

Finally, about 44 million people on average watch the 5 broadcast networks combined, that's about 9 million viewers each. Which is perhaps why shows that get about 8-10 million people may now be considered a modest hit (unless they completely butcher their lead-in audience, of course).

TV Ratings: "Samantha Who" Hits Series High; "Heroes" Hits Season Low

No wonder ABC was quick to pick up "Samantha Who" for a full season of 22 episodes yesterday. After dropping a little bit in week #2, TV's top-rated sitcom bounced back to a series high of 15.36 million viewers on Monday. Plus, "Heroes" hits a new season-low.

CBS sitcoms "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Big Bang Theory" continued to grow with the latter scoring almost 9 million viewers.

NBC's "Heroes" shed another 300,000 viewers this week hitting a new season-low of 10.45 million.

At this time last year the show scored 14.74 million viewers airing after "Deal or No Deal" which pulled in almost 17 million viewers.

"Heroes" might run into more trouble once FOX replaces the underwhelming "K-Ville" with "24" in January.

NBC's new shows "Chuck" and "Journeyman" are also not doing too well, as the latter has now fallen below 6 million.

ABC:
Dancing with the Stars (21.57 million)
Samantha Who (15.36 million)
The Bachelor (10.59 million)

CBS:
How I Met Your Mother (8.55 million)
The Big Bang Theory (8.92 million)
Two and a Half Men (14.12 million)
Rules of Engagement (11.24 million)
CSI: Miami (15.19 million)

NBC:
Chuck (7.03 million)
Heroes (10.45 million)
Journeyman (5.93 million)

FOX:
House (R) (5.82 million)
K-Ville (R) (4.00 million)

The CW:
Everybody Hates Chris (2.50 million)
