LOST 2008 Spoilers: Island Survival at Stake

We all know Michael (Harold Perrineau) is coming back to LOST. But, what else do we know about the upcoming fourth season of ABC's hit drama which will go into production in late August and premiere in early 2008? The first details have emerged. Check them out, after the jump.

The producers of LOST spoke at the San Diego Comic-Con event, an annual multi-day extravaganza for fans of comic books, movie memorabilia and pop culture revealing several sketchy details about the new season during their presentation on Thursday.

Although Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof declined to confirm under what circumstances Michael would return to LOST and whether or not he would be accompanied by his son Walt, they did confirm the actor would appear early in season 4.

Michael, of course, committed double murder and led Jack, Kate and Sawyer to captivity in order to set himself and son Walt free. A visibly aged Walt then re-appeared in the third season finale as a vision of a wounded Locke.

Some of the people who have committed sins in the past appeared to have been punished by the mysterious island smoke monster. Did Michael also have to pay for his sins or did he manage to safely get away from the island?

One of Michael's victims Libby was the subject of a lot of speculation. The producers confirmed they will finally give her story a satisfying closure in the fourth season. They believe the viewers will be happy with the ending of that storyline.

Then the producers dropped a bombshell - the much alleged relation between Jack and Claire will be revealed and the siblings will learn of their bond they had not been aware of before.

Will we see what happens to "future Jack" after he fails to persuade Kate to go back to the island with him? Apparently so, because the show will use both flashbacks and flahsforwards to tell its stories in the future episode.

The reason the writers began using the flashforwards was that they ran out of plausible flashback stories and given the point the show has reached in its run it was time to see what happens after the Losties get off the island. But the story only begins there.

The producers however remind fans to ask themselves: did anyone else manage to get off the island with Kate and Jack? And who was in that coffin? Why was Jack crushed by that person's death? Could it have been his sister Claire?

The writers are currently working on the first of the 16 episodes for the new season and they once again praised ABC for their decision to cut the season short as the new schedule will give them more time to write and come up with big event episodes.

"Dirty Sexy Money" to Premiere September 26

Some call it "Dynasty" meets "Six Feet Under," some prefer "'Brothers & Sisters' on Crack." But can a glossy soap opera reminiscent of those opulent sagas from the greedy 1980s survive in the new millennium?

The cast of "Dirty Sexy Money" (including Peter Krause, Donald Sutherland, Billy Baldwin, Jill Clayburgh and Samaire Armstrong) introduced TV critics and the media to their Hiltonesque ensemble drama at the TCA event on Wednesday.

The New York-based series will be a modern day Dynasty about the enigmatic Darling family who hire Peter Krause's character to do all the obscure legal work for them.

Despite being married with a child he has an intimate bond with the Darlings' eldest daughter who herself is engaged.

A Cliff Barnes-type of nemesis to the Darling family will be introduced in the second episode.

The production on the Greg Berlanti ('Brothers & Sisters') and Bryan Singer ('Superman Returns') produced series began on July 16.

It will air on Wednesdays nights at 10 p.m. on ABC following the "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off "Private Practice," beginning September 26.
