SAG Awards Fashion

The WGA strike may have sucked all fun out of of The Golden Globes this year, but the glitz and glamor was back on the red carpet this Sunday in Hollywood, when the stars came out for the Screen Actor Guild awards. Check out the fashion highlights with the stars of "Desperate Housewives," Grey's Anatomy," "Ugly Betty" and many other beloved TV shows, after the jump.








"Desperate Housewife" Eva Longoria Parker went for a retro look in beaded Naeem Khan dress, while her co-star Marcia Cross wore a turquoise gown with a floral jewel at the bustline. Teri Hatcher continued to endorse designers Badgley and Mischka with an oyster-colored gown with antique crystal embroidery. Nicolette Sheridan however opted for a classic Marchesa black dress.




On the "Grey's Anatomy" front, Ellen Pompeo wore a silver gown by Nina Ricci; Sandra Oh wore a couture version of a traditional Korean dress that featured a hot pink bow and a black ballskirt; and Mrs. Eric Dane - Rebecca Gayheart wore a bold red strapless gown by Marchesa that was made more delicate with tulle around the bustline.






"Ugly Betty's" Vanessa Williams made an appearance in a bright yellow Escada gown with a black waistband, while America Ferrera chose a darker gray Monique Lhuillier dress with delicate lace covering one shoulder.

Milo Ventimiglia Models for LA Times

JUNE 19, 2007: Milo Ventimiglia, who plays male nurse-turned-superhero chameleon Peter Petrelli in NBC's "Heroes," was featured in this weekend's LA Times Style section promoting a new summer look for a man who is secure enough in his skin to wear milquetoast on his sleeve.

On "Heroes," Ventimiglia has to go from ordinary to extraordinary without the help of a costume change. He says:

"One of the things they promised on the show was, no capes, no masks. Besides, Peter Parker is more interesting than Spider-Man and Bruce Wayne is more interesting than Batman — there is conflict within a real person."



"As a superhero they can be [tough guys], running around and taking care of business. As a regular person, there's a struggle to do good or change things but from within the bounds of reality."


"As Peter Petrelli, I made two conscious decisions. One was to pop my collar up in episode nine right before my character saves the cheerleader. The second was in the season finale when I take my jacket off to beat the ... out of the bad guy."


As for his personal style, Ventimiglia says it's either dark simple jeans and T-shirts, or a dark suit, a white shirt and a simple tie and a pair of leather shoes. In addition to several Ralph Lauren suits and two tuxedos, his closet contains a Brooks Brothers Fitzgerald style and several custom suits of his grandfather's that he had recut to fit him by a tailor in Santa Monica.



His must-have accessory is a nice pen. "I know it sounds ridiculous, but if you're wearing a nice suit and you pull out a Bic pen or a nice Montblanc pen it's a bit different."

Becki Newton, Jane Kaczmarek & Kristen Bell @ Frederick's of Hollywood Show

"Ugly Betty's" vampy Mode gal Becki Newton, "Malcolm's" loud mom Jane Kaczmarek and "Gossip Girl" narrator and a new "Hero" Kristen Bell made a sexy appearance at Wednesday night's Frederick's of Hollywood Spring 2008 lingerie fashion show in Los Angeles.


The corsets displayed at the "Clothes Off Out Back" sponsored event were designed by celebrities like Jessica Biel, Christina Aguilera and Eva Longoria for a charity auction which took place on Thursday. The fashion show was held at the historic Hollywood Palladium which will soon close for reconstruction.

Daily Eye Candy: Chad White (2)

Three months ago I profiled one of the 10 greatest male models in the world, Chad White. And as I always say, the only thing better than a good thing, is overdoing the good thing.

The 22-year old native of Portland, Oregon played baseball in college and was drafted for Major League Baseball.

He ended up launching his mega-successful modeling career after he injured his hand.

It is said Chad is patient, tireless, kind and fun to be with, as a number of backstage videos would prove.

The final two images were taken at the Perry Ellis show (New York Fashion Week) on Wednesday.
