VIDEO: Cast of "Dirty Sexy Money" Opens Monday Night Football on ESPN
I am not sure if the audience that watches ESPN's "Monday Night Football" is the same audience the sports network's corporate sibling ABC is going after with its Wednesday night drama "Dirty Sexy Money," but it's great to see the network continues to promote the super-cool sudser on a variety of platforms.
"Monday Night Football" which used to air on ABC has been used in recent years to promote a number of ABC shows.
In 2004, for instance, a Nicolette Sheridan skit with Philadelphia Eagles star Terrell Owens promoted "Desperate Housewives" which had premiered that year.
The tame skit caused yet another irrational controversy in the US because Sheridan was seen dropping the towel she was wearing and jumping into Owens' arms.
According to the flood of protests received by the FCC at the time, the skit was deemed "pornographic", "offensive" and worthy of a fine for "obscenity."
