Chevy Chase Joins "Brothers & Sisters"
ABC must have given its award-winning Greg Berlanti series "Brothers & Sisters" quite a decent production budget. In addition to an all-star cast boasting the talents of Sally Field, Rob Lowe and Calista Flockhart, as well as notable guest stars such as Danny Glover and Steven Weber, former "National Lampoon's" star Chevy Chase has been tapped to play a former flame of Nora Walker.
The SNL veteran was recently seen in a Mel Gibson-mocking episode of "Law & Order."
His character Stan Hirsh, will be the high school boyfriend of Nora Walker (Sally Field), on the ABC Studios show.
Danny Glover will also play a romantic interest for the matriarch played by Sally Field.
Chase will begin filming his multi-episode arc tomorrow.

Shame he has to be a liberal. This guy is extremely funny. I still laugh at loud at Christmas Vacation. If he is at least 60% as funny as he was in Christmas Vacation, I MAY consider tuning in to see the episode he appears in.
I am really excited by this casting news. I think these two are going to be really good together.
Danny Glover is a good actor but I can't see any chemistry with Sally Field but we will wait and see...
btw, still loving this show so much.
Best show out there right now.!
Thank you for the info.!

I love this show, but can't stand Chevy Chase ... hopefully he won't stick around for long.
