TV Ratings: "Chuck" & "Journeyman" Take a Plunge (10/8/07)
New NBC shows "Chuck" and "Journeyman" continued their decline in week #3 (after both premiering 2 weeks ago to over 9 million viewers) as did the sophomore drama "Heroes" which anchors the night for the network. "Prison Break" held steady for a 4th week in a row, although I'll be curious to see next week's results following last night's shocking 'jump the shark' moment.
"How I Met Your Mother" on CBS managed to post season-high figures narrowing the gap with the rookie lead-out "The Big Bang Theory" which has been exceeding "Mother's" numbers since the premiere.
CBS's entire once-superior Monday night line-up has succumbed to ABC and its powerhouse "Dancing with the Stars," which was once again the most watched show in America last night in both total viewers and 18-49 demo.
ABC:
Dancing With the Stars (19.32 million)
The Bachelor (9.92 million)
CBS:
How I Met Your Mother (8.03 million)
The Big Bang Theory (8.36 million)
Two and a Half Men (12.98 million)
Rules of Engagement (10.71 million)
CSI: Miami (14.14 million)
NBC:
Chuck (7.12 million)
Heroes (10.75 million)
Journeyman (6.94 million)
FOX:
Prison Break (7.21 million)
K-Ville (5.38 million)
The CW:
Everybody Hates Chris (2.63 million)
Aliens in America (2.11 million)
Girlfriends (2.50 million)
The Game (2.81 million)

I Like Journeyman... but the ratings are horrible!
Well Monday Nights have become dull. Unless you're a dancing fan, there's nothing to really watch.
I love Journeyman -- I'm so disappointed it got such low ratings. :/
Big Bang Theory has definitely improved every week. It's appointment viewing now.
I love Chuck. I hope they'll advertise it more. It's kind of a great mix of comedy and action.
