TV Ratings: "Supernatural" Rises (10/11/07)
The Winchester brothers rose despite sharing TV's toughest timeslot with blockbusters "CSI" (down over a million) and "Grey's Anatomy" (up half a million). Meanwhile, CSI won the night in total viewers, while Seattle Grace docs were #1 in adults 18-49.
It was a great night for network TV as there were gains across the board. "Ugly Betty" added half a million, "Smallville" went up almost 200,000 and even "Grey's" troubled lead-out "Big Shots" scored 600,000 additional viewers.
Unfortunately for ABC, "Big Shots" remains underwhelming as over 3 million viewers abandoned the show by 10:30 p.m. Also, the drama's retention out of "Grey's Anatomy" is only 50%.
NBC's fading "ER" did worse than its lead-in "The Office" and "Big Shots" on ABC.
ABC:
Ugly Betty (10.35 million)
Grey's Anatomy (18.65 million)
Big Shots (9.26 million)
CBS:
Survivor: China (14.00 million)
CSI (19.63 million)
Without a Trace (13.63 million)
NBC:
My Name Is Earl (7.74 million)
30 Rock (6.61 million)
The Office (8.91 million)
ER (8.41 million)
FOX:
Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (8.16 million)
Don't Forget the Lyrics (5.6 million)

Supernatural (3,23 million)

I forsee ABC's manwhores(aka Big Shots) getting pulled and Dirty Sexy Money or Cashmere Mafia taking it's place not long after.
It's a shame that ER is fading. Still, 14 years is a long time to be on air and there is a hotter medical drama on Thursday nights now.
Hurray for SUPERNATURAL, a show that is far better than GREY'S or CSI! Filled with drama, humor, scares, a classic muscle car and music, excellent performances from Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, SUPERNATURAL is a fabulous show that deserves far more viewers than it has. GO, SUPERNATURAL! Robin
Supernatural is highly overrated! It's so unoriginal for God's sake and it's so boring!!! In every episode it happens the same thing!!!
